OUR STORY

Analog Sound was born from the enthusiasm of two record lovers - Toni and Tatjana.

The idea of opening a record store in Dubrava was Toni's. After a short presentation of that idea to his wife and her enthusiastic reaction, the brainstorming started and the whole thing gained a new depth. We decided to add a lot of additional things besides just records and with that unify all our interests. The decision was made in a second and without thinking, it was an absolute "yes" with an exclamation point. After that, we rolled up our sleeves and started working. 

The first step was resigning from the company where Toni worked, then purchasing records, looking for a place for our shop, designing the space and much more. With the great help of our wonderful and selfless parents and friends, the idea and desire to open a vinyl shop came true and on Saturday, July 10, 2021. we opened our doors.

WHAT AWAITS YOU IN ANALOG SOUND

Visitors can expect a lot of good music for all senses. 

We specialize in the sale and purchase of vinyl records, primarily pre-owned. However, we also have a special "mint" shelf with new (sealed) records.

The space is decorated with a lot of love and care. We paid a lot of attention to details and little things. It was very important to us that our shop is a pleasant and cozy place full of warmth, in which people feel good. We said that we want to be the living room of Dubrava, and that's exactly what our space looks like.

MUSIC FOR ALL SENSES

Our motto is "Music for all senses". We justify this by the fact that we offer music on vinyl records, i.e. our music is tangible, unlike digital editions, and satisfies the sense of touch, not just hearing. In the store, you can spend a pleasant time listening to records, but also reading music literature.

Ovdje možete dobiti i kavu, tako da osim opipa i sluha, na taj način nudimo i cijelo iskustvo za sva osjetila – njuh i okus. Uz kavu mora ići i neka šalica, tako da u ponudi imamo i PolonaPolona šalice s ilustracijama glazbenika. 

The sense of sight was taken care of by our wonderful friend and artist Helena Šepl, who painted our shop window and wall, so that the entire experience of Analog Sound starts from the very entrance. 

Our walls are also decorated with clocks made from old unusable records, which also fits well with our mission to contribute to upcycling, i.e. the reuse of records that would otherwise end up in waste.

Dubrava is beautiful and we both love it. We were born and raised here and we love our life here very much. But we were missing a place in the neighborhood where we could enjoy music and share it with others. So, in the end, we came to the conclusion that we will open such a place ourselves.
